How much does it cost to install window graphics?

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric window graphics?

Vinyl graphics are usually applied with adhesive material that sticks directly to the window pane while fabric window graphics are attached either by stapling or tacking them onto the window frame. Vinyl graphics can be removed easily whereas fabric graphics need to be removed carefully to avoid damaging them.

Is it easy to remove window graphics?

Yes, it’s very easy to remove window graphics from the window space and much easier than window painting. Once installed, all you need to do is peel off the backing paper from the glass surface and tear away the instructions. There are special tools that can be used to help you remove the window graphic without harming the surface where the graphic was applied.

Do I need to have my windows cleaned before applying window graphics?

Not necessarily, but we do recommend cleaning the surface prior to installing the window graphics.  You can use standard window cleaner and towel wipe down with a damp cloth.

How much time does it take to install window graphics vs Signs?

Usually, it takes about 15-30 minutes per window, but can vary depending on the size and type of window graphics being installed. Smaller sized window graphics can be installed by a single person.  For larger ones, you may need a second set of hands to help.

Are window graphics made of plastic or wood?

They can be made from both and we even have metal materials that can be used to custom shaped into something like your business logo.  Plastic window graphics are usually more cost effective and easier to work with. On the other hand, wooden and metal window graphics are considered to be more durable. Both kinds of window graphics are available in different colors and styles.

Window decals, sometimes referred to as window signs, come in a variety of forms.  the type of window decal depends on your specific needs.  Starting with a blank window, we determine how much area we have to work with.  You may decide surface window graphics are best for the location.  For some others looking for privacy, we have window film or frosted window graphics that can be created.  Additionally, we have a custom window decal perforated window vinyl material.  Printed on one side with a graphic, perforated window graphics are essentially see-through window decals; allow you to see through the back of them, but display an engaging graphic to the viewer on the other side.

Is there anything else I should know before installing window graphics?

If window graphics location is outside, make sure to check the weather forecast before you start working. Vinyl  graphics material requires the temperature to be at a minimum of 45 degrees fahrenhiet for the adhesive to adhere properly to the surface.  The warmer the temperature, the better.  Some materials such as inkjet printers require direct sunlight to dry properly. Additionally, it’s important to note that if working with paints, they may contain solvents that can damage your skin and eyes when inhaled.  Wear protective gear including goggles, gloves, long sleeves and pants.
